  • So many errors...

I do not feel I can take advice from someone who does not proofread their work before publishing it. This is not an insult to the author, merely a sincere criticism. If you are going to present yourself as a professional - wouldn’t you assume that the work is refined? Not this publisher. Grammatical/spelling errors abound, poor formatting. There were good pieces of advice (live in the moment, request instead of demanding, etc.) but the majority of the book was binary and broad brushing. A book of generalizations; assumptions of the reader and those they date instead of providing adaptable methods for any personality type or scenario. Asserting that finding others attractive assumes that an individual ponders cheating, then stating that a spouse would not give a sincere answer if asked if they’ve thought of cheating? Assuming that a man in a committed relationship will find other women attractive (reasonable) and then state that he instinctively wants to have sex with them but *chooses* not to? The author assumes men are incapable of mental and emotional desire for commitment and fidelity because they have “dirty thoughts” occasionally. The “attraction” to others versus the conscious desire to cheat but not doing so - as if it were some temptation they battled each time they found someone attractive. Not all men are like this. While all people will find others attractive, it does not assume that the person has active interest or thoughts on sleeping with them. Two stars. Had to stop at page 100, I couldn’t take it seriously anymore. Give men some more credit, this book dumbs them down to a biological level and discounts their ability to reason.

Thank you for writing this book. It has truly been really helpful for my journey as a teen. I enjoyed how you kept the thoughts simplified yet factual with so much to back it up with. Really good book, I’d certainly recommend it to someone who is open minded. I’m actually going to look into your other books, kind of want to take a psychology class now! Thank you again, rlly good book.

I really liked the book. Actually read it in one day. I plan on recommending it to a few of my girls and applying to my dating life. There were quite a few spelling errors though.
