THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
THIRTY DAYS
That’s all Adam Steinbeck demands of his wife.
Thirty days in a remote cottage, doing everything he commands. After that, he’ll sign her divorce papers and give her complete ownership of their company.

That’s how long he has to rediscover the man he once was. The Dominant Master he hid when he fell in love with her five years ago.

She wants the business they built badly enough to go to the cottage for a month. Cut off ties to the world and do his bidding. She can submit to him with her body, but her heart will never yield.

She thinks this is his pathetic attempt to repair their marriage.

She’s wrong.

The second book is going to be amazing after what just happened at the end. This was so much more than BDSM. To me it's about finding yourself, having an open mind, trust, communication and honesty. I thought this story was pretty powerful. I don't know, I could go on and on but you should read it yourself to make your own judgment.

I did enjoy the writing style. That's where the enjoyment ended. For 2 intelligent people they didn't have a clue what they wanted from themselves or each other or from life. And no man would be a Dom and that talkative.

I purchased this based on the sample not noticing that it was the first of a series. I make it a practice not to dig into series' until they're complete, it's too frustrating. So this will sit in my library unread until the series is complete. Then I'll read the first one & decide if the rest are worth it.... So now I've read this and I'm glad I didn't until I could purchase the rest of the story. I really hate cliff hangers! That said, it's a great story. I love BDSM with characters that feel real, that make mistakes & second guess themselves. Both MCs in Marriage Games are such people. I look forward to reading an HEA for them.

What would you give up for the love of your life? In doing so, would you be whole or would you be fooling yourself into thinking you are complete. You cannot deny who you are is the message of part one. What would you do if the unthinkable was what you desired? That what you have convinced yourself into thinking was wrong on every level, but also so right. Being submissive does not mean that you are not an empowered woman is the message of the second half. CD Reiss has a way of drawing you into a story with characters that jump off the page and a storyline so addictive you can't stop reading until the end. This book is beyond 5 stars.

Finally a good read to lust over! Thank you CD! The story line kept me interested and I was re-reading parts just for fun. I was searching for another series to start but having trouble finding any new reads with enough story to keep me interested. There are so many D/S books out there that authors are just pumping out worthless reads with the same stuff over and over. I was really get bored. I'll definitely buy more books by CD knowing your creative genius is bound to be entertaining!

I've never read a book like Marriage Games before. It was emotional, gut wrenching, a love story like no other! In the beginning my heart broke for Adam. He had no idea that his wife, Diana was unhappy in their marriage. His love for her was so deep and she was so cold and closed off to him, he was so lost. When he asked for 30 days at his cottage, I thought he was going to try to have her fall in love with him all over again, but that's not what he was doing, and when I realized what he was doing, my heart broke for Diana! In the beginning, I didn't like Diana, because I didn't understand her but when she gave her pov, I understood her, where she was coming from, her fears, her hopes and dreams. What Adam did to her at the end of the book, was so cruel, I cried for Diana. This book will leave you breathless!!!

I read the blurb for this one and had to have it. I love CD Reiss books and though this one was addicting from the very first page, I felt like I was missing something. I don't read a ton about D/s relationships but what grabbed me was the blurb and the possibility of Adam winning back the love of his wife. He has thirty days to change her mind. I enjoyed the past/present storytelling and seeing the differences from when they started to now. This book is about a couple's journey into rediscovering themselves. To understand what was missing in their lives and to either fix their marriage or part ways. It ends in a cliff which is disappointing because I want to know what happens to them. Hopefully book 2 comes out soon! I will say this...This book has Ms. Reiss's trademark poetic storytelling that sparks interest and opens your eyes and thoughts to different things. It's difficult to pinpoint what was missing for me...maybe it was lack of emotion and too much of the same situation with our heroine on her knees, but I wanted more depth than the repetitiveness. Regardless that this wasn't my fave Reiss book, I will continue reading and supporting this author bec I love her work and she is truly gifted. I look forward to book 2 and what is to come of this couple. I hope for a happy ending *fingers crossed*
