This book took me through a wide gambit of emotions. Anger, fear for the characters, happiness for Delray and Bridgette, a thirst for revenge against the corruption of the police force, etc. I started reading this book at 6pm and finally shut it down at 1am. I finished it this morning. I cannot wait to read Cold Hard Cash!

I liked this book. Well written with a twisted but logical plot line. Coming from a law enforcement family, I can identify with the political machinations detailed here.

At first found it found it slow and then Wham! Got my attention not smooth intro of character sense it became good guy bad guy influence but being for the good guy caught my attention. Politics do not always come out on top. At my age have become jaded about management so loved how story unfolded for what is right and wrong. Give it a👍up! P McSheehy
