It was the start of another ordinary day at the office for Max, he was emailing a friend when one of his other early morning co-workers called for his help, someone was having a heart attack. Rushing to the aid of his fallen co-worker Max knew one thing, it wasn't a heart attack. Heart attack victims didn't bleed and didn't start chewing on anyone they could catch either.

  • Awesome story but horrible read

Sorry I have to give a low review for such an awesome book. I love everything zombie, and really like the story... But the typos, grammar, and punctuation are horrendously terrible. It's so bad I had to put the book down after page 134. Fire your editor, seriously, fire him or her!
  • This is a zombie story. NOT a story about survivors.

This is more like a story about zombie "vampires" than it is about human survivors. I made it to about 200 pages and got tired of hearing about the inner thoughts of the lead zombie. I think I lost all interest when the zombie group stopped to shop at the Gap. Just not my thing.
  • Dont buy

Worst book I have ever picked up. I love zombie books and movies but good god really. Zombies that can talk think and heal. Two thumbs way way down.

I thought it was an awesome read, and loved how you didn't forget about the children. in most zombie books they are not even mentioned. thanks, Sharon
  • Stopped reading once the zombies started driving cars

Talking, thinking, using security badges and shopping are all things I don't think zombies should be able to do. I draw the line at driving cars.

I have to say I did not expect to read the whole thing. I did! I got hooked and every night I read more and more. I have not read a book since high school, and for this to be one of them was truly great. Please keep making more stories like this one! Time to download the second one!
  • Great Story!

I really enjoyed reading the first book and plan to read the rest now because I didn't know it was going to be a trilogy until the end. I found it to be kind of a slow first half but there's nothing wrong with that it's just how the storyline plays out. I found it to be a good way to get a way for a little bit and live in a different world and mindset. I always enjoyed the thought of a zombie apocalypse and how it would impact society and I think you did a great job portraying your thoughts on it through the book. As for the 4 star instead of 5 I know you said you did a lot of editing and correcting spelling and grammatical changes but I still noticed quite a few. Going through my review you can see I have no masters degree in writing or literature but the errors still stuck out like a soar thumb to me. None the less a great book that I enjoyed reading and can't wait to read the rest!
  • Pretty good (some spoilers)

I like how the action started off in the beginning but I don't like how the zombies were smart. I don't like how all of a sudden they became tactical and wanted revenge and all that. Like you're a zombie, you eat people... That's it. That's what you do. You don't try to build armies or control other zombies. I did like, however, that there were people that banded together and then there were some antagonistic people. There was always action and I found myself trying to scan ahead to see what would happen next but opted to just keep reading i stead. It was a good story line as well. I just wish the ending would have been stretched a bit. I was highly upset that the book was over because I was anticipating on more story. :)
