With classic simplicity and a painter's feeling for atmosphere and detail, Isak Dinesen tells of the years she spent from 1914 to 1931 managing a coffee plantation in Kenya.

Great Writing - Scanning Misspellings
Very well written and enjoyable to read.
This edition has spelling errors caused by scanning the text. For example, the book sometimes calls a character Ramante. Scanning has misread a “K” because the character is in fact Kamante. It took me too long to realize that Ramante and Kamante were the same person.
