Day by day The Fever grew stronger, surging across boundaries in its relentless assault on humanity. The news pouring out across the airwaves turned more shocking by the hour. Hospitals had started closing their doors. The dead and dying littered the landscape.

The tiny group stranded on Portsmouth Island listened as the horror unfolded. They had no where to run, and no where to hide. The struggle to survive had taken on a new meaning. The Fever promised an eventual death. Something else had come to The Island though, something wicked and hungry.

As if life wasn’t complicated enough, a stranger arrived in an odd little boat and brought with him, both hope and fear. No one knew the man was sick. No one knew he had a fever.

To save him, William Hill would have to violate the travel ban. To save himself, he would have to face down an indescribable evil.

I have enjoyed all three installments and have hard time stopping for other things. It has a very easy flow and keeps you thinking where it is heading next.

What a great story. Please please please makes it longer. We need to know more. It has great characters that deserve to live longer the 220 pages per book. This is so Good. I will try another of your books. For avid Stephen king lovers like me. Real readers need more pages. You have the great story and the characters. Your so close to being one of the great writers
  • Great book, Great Author

This book is written in the first person view, and is not lacking in imagination. I read though Book 1, parts 1-3 in less than 6 hours. It keep me turning pages to see what was going top happen and wanting more. I enjoy the Author's view of society and feel its on the mark. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Each installment seems a little short, but the story line is great, filled with believable characters. I love the author's writing style. The storyline is filled with plausible current affairs and projections of what could possibly be. But of course the fantasy characters are chilling and add wonderful spice! A great read! Highly recommended!
  • Nautical

I am enjoying this book immensely. It can get dry with the intimate nautical details, but otherwise I am enjoying how things are oddly enfolding.
