Vampires didn't exist, but human monsters did—and Mallory Taniss was going to protect her sisters from those monsters.

They would not be victims like she had been.

Aodhan Adrastos was the strongest warrior of his vampiric race, sent to stop a human sociopath from targeting his people again. Aodhan had a plan for vengeance that would end the threat to his Kind and avenge the two thousand dead at Taniss hands.

But instead of the human responsible for the deaths of thousands of Aodhan's Kind, there was a mere human woman.

The killer's granddaughter.

Vulnerable, beautiful and frightened. Ready to defend her family from him.

Aodhan knew with one taste that the impossible had happened—this human female was the mate destined for him from the moment of his birth.

Aodhan wasn't about to leave the mate he'd waited centuries before behind, not now that he'd finally found her…

  • Good reads

    I enjoyed reading this book.
  • Shouldn't have bothered

    By Star Anne
The female lead is just too unrealistically stubbornly naive. Unwilling to put the obvious together. Feel bad for her "fated". Didn't bother with the end. Shouldn't have bothered reading.
  • Stockholm syndrome

    By Jifieurididi
If you like kidnapped women who fall in love with their abusers this is the book for you. She is constantly demeaned during first half of the book. It was difficult to find respect for either character.
  • Disappointed

I gave this book 3 stars because I loved the story. However, I wished the author focused on one relationship nod gathered her thoughts. I also wish she had someone proof read the book before releasing it. The grammatical errors and the typos were way too much. I would love to see how the story ends but I find it hard to buy the other books.😩
  • Loved it.

I absolutely loved this book, yes the grammar and other things weren't so good but I liked the characters. I'll definitely be getting more books from her.
  • Had potential...

    By Onehot2006
I feel like this book had a lot of potential, but it missed the mark. A lot of details were left out, and I had trouble following the story line because of it. Punctuation, grammar, and the basic sentence structure were horrible. It's a shame, really, because I really wanted to know more about these people.
  • Awful

This book is horrendously written. The grammar is appalling. The book has no direction and zero explanation. It is haphazard and poorly put together and is in desperate need of several rewrites.

Loved this book couldn't put it down. Was surprised some of this bad reviews can't wait for the next book to see what happens
  • Exhilarating Read

    By SpeedracerG
From the time the book begins, I was sucked into a story of excitement. I enjoyed how the heroine was strong within her right and her mate was stronger by many means, but he recognized her strength and honored it. The story was romantic, mysterious, and full of danger. Yet, I could not put it down.
  • Confusing.

This wasn't very well written. The grammatical mistakes made this a difficult read, as well as the story line, which seemed riddled with inconsistencies. I wouldn't recommended this book.
